Courtyard Fountain

A water feature can transform any space into a tranquil relaxation retreat. This empty wall in the courtyard is the largest unobstructed wall in the courtyard and is easily visible from inside the house. This location was just screaming for a fountain. By using a photograph of the desired design, this custom fountain was created on site out of cinder blocks, Spanish clay tile, and porcelain tile. Copper piping was used to allow a natural patina to develop over time. A small pump circulates the water and landscape lighting was installed behind the basin to illuminate the blue tile wall at night.
