About the Project
DIY project gone wrong. Always important to use pressure treated wood outside. If you don’t, the termites in Florida will find it and have a buffet. This hardwood support header was hidden inside of a Cedar wrapped exterior. As a result of the Cedar wood wrap, the termite damage wasn’t visible until the entire header started bowing. Please note the picture below is prior to staining.
