Windows Converted to Sliding Doors

About the Project

It is common knowledge that waterfront property is typically more expensive than a comparable property that is not on the water. There are probably many reasons for this, but one of them must be simply the ability to see the water from inside the home. So, why pay all that extra money for the home and look through tiny windows when you can put in a much larger window or a sliding glass door? This 1969 property had 2 windows with two different issues. First, there was a 13′ window in the dining room that allowed a view of the canal, but blocked the view of the pool. Second, there was no easy access pool bathroom. Wet bathers would have to walk from the back door of the house, through the dining room, through the kitchen, and through the living room to the front hallway bathroom. There is however a back guest bedroom with a bathroom, right next to the pool. The 13′ dining window was converted to a slider and the rear facing guest bedroom window was also converted to a slider allowing the guest bedroom bathroom to become the pool bathroom.
